A friend, Siew Wee, requested me to design and make some simple oriental theme wedding cookies for her guests. Unfortunately I was on drips at the hospital 2 days before her actual wedding day and was unable to complete the cookies for all her guests...

Sneak Preview: Mark and Min Min's Wedding

Thank you Ms Minnie a.k.a Min Min for the order last Saturday. Wishing you and Mark a blissful marriage!

 

It was rather challenging doing the standing wedding couple figurines last week due to the wet and rainy weather. I made at least 6 of them before the figures finally decided not to sag, melt or tilt - with the air conditioner switched on for 24 hours throughout the whole process of decorating up to the delivery. Had some issues on the stacking and transporting of the 3 tier cake too. I was really relieved to have the cake finally delivered and the bride loving it!

 

These are pictures courtesy of the bride. The first and the last tiers are made of butter cakes (one with orange buttercream and the other one with normal butter cream) and the mid tier is made of moist chocolate cake. I will upload more pictures later.

The bride loved Yasmin's Hello Kitty cake design, complete with the ombre frills, and gave specific instructions as to the design.
